They just pray for a painless death. There are people that live really poor life. Their every day is painful and they sometimes wish thay could die in the moment.
In my school there is a boy that gets mocked and bad treated a lot. I can't really get into his mind but I can see that he's not good and that he's uncorfomtable in a big group of people. Everytime he goes through the hall a group of "bad" boys throw things at him and call him a rude names. He must be desperated and disappointed in life. I don't know why they do that to him, probably that's just a fun for them and he may thinks that he just doesn't have luck. However, people shouldn't be dissapointed in their life, because you live only once, so live it properly, don't be judgemental. You don't have time to be rude or unhappy, you should spend your life as happier as you can. Y. O. L. O (You Only Live Once)
