When I saw this quote I thought "Oh yeah, again the same, I hear it all the time, so old", but when I saw who said it, a shiver went through my body, I haven't felt something similar for a long time. I was ashamed I even thought that.
Anne was a Jewess who was hiding in a house and writting a diary which is later used as evidence against all acts committed by the occupier. Hard words, but imagine when relatively little girl said something like that in a situation when she knew nobody can help her. It is expected from her to hate people with all her heart who are evil to her and her family, but no, she's showing humanity and love which is hiding in every one of us. Think about this.
